DIRECTOR

Matt founded the business in 2019 having a passion for local sport in the community playing for Gawler Central and South Gawler in both football and cricket. Matt was already the self-proclaimed 'King of the North' (KOTN). In 2018 Matt started working at the Bunyip Newspaper in Gawler and Co Hosting a Saturday morning Sports Show on Barossa radio station Triple B FM. Currently Matt is the Reserves coach at Woodville West Torrens and is the managing director at KOTNmedia.

DIRECTOR

Brad is not only a director of KOTNmedia, he is also best friend of Matt and was influential in setting the business up from day 1. Brad brings with him not only a passion for sport and the community but also business. Brad also spent many years playing football down at the Central District Football Club before becoming their head physio in season 2021. His business iPerform specialising in physiotherapy ties in nicely with his business commitments at KOTNmedia.

DIRECTOR

Daniel Menzel is a name most people would remember after bursting onto the AFL scene before rupturing his ACL and having a continual run of bad luck which would see Daniel rupture his ACL another three times. Through this time Daniel created his own business MTMF. When Daniel finished his 10 year AFL stint and came home to Adelaide, It felt natural for Daniel to join the team at KOTNmedia. Daniel has brought with him a wealth of knowledge, resilience and hard work to the business overseeing the operations of the business.

Travis Head, a boy who grew up in the northern suburbs of Adelaide now playing on the biggest stage there is in professional cricket. It felt like a great fit to have Travis come on board the team at KOTNmedia as an ambassador for our brand. Travis has had a phenomenal career to date, wearing the baggy green on 19 occasions for Australia. Travis who is now 28 still has plenty of time to continue playing at the highest level. Travis is fantastic at engaging with our sponsors and corporate partners and has helped us in driving relationships with the South Australian Cricket Association.

Mark as all of our team are in another boy who grew up in the northern suburbs of Adelaide, Mark burst onto the cricketing scene at 14 hitting his first A grade 100 for the Northern District Cricket Club. Mark would go on to be an icon of South Australian cricket, have an outstanding couple of years in Tasmania and represent the green and gold. Mark is now back in Adelaide as a batting coach for the Redbacks. Mark is extremely driven and is extremely passionate about sport, Mark hosts our summer cricket show focusing on the SACA premier competition along with working in our sponsorship and corporate partners side of the business.

SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER & PHOTOGRAPHER

Stacey is another Northern suburbs local growing up in Gawler. Stacey has had a love for photography from a young age, studying it throughout her schooling journey and multiple TAFE courses before opening her own photography business in 2017 - Stacey Lehmann Photography.

Stacey specialises in wedding and portrait photography with a passion for freezing moments in time to create lifetime memories for her clients. As well as being our in-house photographer, Stacey also manages our Social Media Marketing. Liaising with clients and staff, creating content plans and graphic design.

Stacey is also the Fiance of Matt, together they built a home and continue to grow their businesses with their little furbaby Rory.

VIDEO PRODUCTION & CONTENT MANAGER

Kurt has a passion for story telling and filmmaking and enjoys pushing the creative boundaries that will set businesses apart from everyone else. An award-winning short film and web series Producer, he’s won many awards including Best web series at Stareable festival in New York City, Best web series at Sydney Web fest and Best web series at the SASA awards in 2021. He has studied film and television both in South Australia and in Sydney and was fortunate enough to be mentored by an Award winning renowned Australian DOP.

Kurt has worked on various films and TV shows including the Nickelodeon Produced children’s program, The Upside Down Show, starring the Umbilical Brothers.

SOCIAL MEDIA ASSISTANT & VIDEO PRODUCTION

Jakob has had an eye for design and creating since he was in school.

Running a social media page has been an incredibly rewarding experience, with many hours being put in to learn how to produce valuable content. This has led to me being in charge of a multitude of local sporting organisations social media, and I am proud to know that people around the globe see the product of my hard work.

Working in media has been my dream since I was a child, and KOTN has provided me the pathway to accomplish my ambitions. Being able to work with an amazing team dedicated to producing quality content is a dream come true.
